Chase and his pottying!

My little boy has officially become a big boy, but a gentleman also! He now uses the potty standing up! He has been asking forever to go standing up because some of the boys in his class do, but I was afraid he would be too short (hasn't quite gotten a growth spurt lately). So, I kept telling him that Daddy would teach him when he got a little bigger!

The other night Randall says to me, "Did you tell Chase to go potty standing up?" I told him I had no idea but knew he had been wanting to. Well later that night he went again, but sat down so I figured it was just a fluke.

The next morning when I woke him up he ran in to the bathroom, moved the stool, and stood up and went potty! Well, then he grabbed some toilet paper, cleaned the rim, lowered the seat and flushed with a huge smile! There is my little gentleman! That made me laugh! I just thought it was too funny that he even cleaned up after himself! Thank you to his day care teacher who taught him that good manner! Oh, and he moves the stool back for his sisters!

My little gentleman! I am so prooud of him! LOL!

Bubble bath!

A few weeks ago the kids spent the night with Gertie and Cheif! They got a bubble bath after a hard day of play and loved it! They keep asking me for another one so I guess Mom and Dad have to be brave too! LOL! Cute pictures!

It was a good day at school today!

The kids had a good day at school (Bec Bec's Day Care)! They had no potty accidents and didn't get in to trouble (apparently we have a pushing problem...oops), so we were giving them their chocolate Easter Bunnies from Uncle Chuck. Charlene loved hers (she also had gizzards that night from the chicken place, she eats everything!). The other 2 had little bites, but I am not sure if chocolate is their thing, but they sure were excited about the Easter Bunnies! Thanks Uncle Chuck!

When I picked them up from school they were so excited to tell me they had a good day and they were going to go home and eat their Easter bunnies! Chase told me, "I went poo-poo in the potty Mommy! You're so happy for me aren't you! Yes!" Before that at some point he managed to give me a "Gig 'em!" too!

My little Divas!

The girls love to come home and put their pretty dress and pretty shoes on! Charlene especially, last night she didn't have time to get in her dress and shoes so she took them to bed with her! Carolyn is just now getting the hang of this dress up thing, but she loves it too!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! The kids had a great day! They hunted eggs all day long! They actually started hunting on Thursday at school, but they never took their picture with the Easter Bunny (he came to school, but they wanted nothing to do with him)! Oh well! We hunted eggs at the house Sunday morning. As soon as Chase woke up he was trying to look outside the windows to see if the Easter Bunny had come! If you ask the kids what happened on Easter they say, "Jesus carried the cross." Not bad for 3! They are learning! After our morning hunt we had crawfish (or for the kids more candy and junk)! Then we did another Easter egg hunt with Dylan and Savannah. Then we had more cakes, ice cream, and sugar! When we got home, our neighbors Caleb and Liz had family and friends over so they invited the kids over for another Easter egg hunt! They were pros by then! They had that yard cleaned up in less than 2 minutes! It was a great day with family and friends! By the end of the day I think the kids had more candy than they had ever had in their whole life!

It's Rodeo (Radio) Time in Houston!

We took the kids to the rodeo over spring break! They called it the "radio"!!! They were so excited! They had a section called "Kid Country." You walked through the process of working on a farm. You fed your chickens, planted your crops, picked your crops, milked the cow, sold your product and then bought a snack from the farmer's market. It was super cute and they had a great time!
Chase is watering his crops! The girls are planting their seeds.

Milking the cow!

Eating supper! There aren't many seats outside to sit and eat, so we made do!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Wow! I can't believe they are already 3! It really does feel like yesterday that we were bringing them home from the hospital wondering how and the heck we were going to take care of 3 babies at the same time! Well, we have all survived this long, lets see how we survive the year #3! Everyone I talk to says 3 is worse than 2....we are already starting to see that stage! LOL! Most of the birthday is on video. Here is them in their party hats!

Chase is out! He needed a nap after all of the partying!
We could not wake Carolyn up from her nap! We sat her up and she went right back to sleep!

Charlene of course did not sleep! I think she was in shoe overload!

Friendswood FFA Fundraiser

Megan's FFA was having a fundraiser Easter festival this weekend! We stopped by to see the fun and they were taking pictures with bunnies. When they set the bunny down all the kids could do was stare at it! I think they were so afraid it was going to jump out and touch them! Charlene got to pet a goat, but the other two did not want to touch it at all!!! Believe it or not that actually toured the whole barn without crying! The sheep jumped up on the gate and theat made them a little nervous and every time the pigs would grunt they jumped, but I think they enjoyed the festivities!!!! Thanks Megan and Dana! :)
